Plugin translation

  • Hi Michael,

    still testing this plugin. I use it for german visitors so it would be great the plugin translation for products could be expand.

    “Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on [relevant Amazon Site(s), as applicable] at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.”

    Hi,

    You would need to create a translation file. Please try the following staps.

    1. Get the program, Poedit (https://www.poedit.net/download.php).
    2. Open the .po file to translate. In this case, amazon-auto-links.po with Poedit. The file is located in the language folder of the plugin.
    3. Open the property window from the menu Go to Catalog -> Properties.
    4. For German, enter “German” without quotes in the Language field. Enter “nplurals=2; plural=n != 1;” without quotes in the Plural Forms field.
    5. Go back to the main panel and select the items to translate.
    6. Save the file as “amazon-auto-links-de_DE.po” for German. The program will create .mo file as well. Place those files in the language folder of the plugin.
