• What happens if I translate the words in the menu? The words in the menu are taken from the categories. Will translating the menu also create new and separate English categories?

Maybe you could take a look a my site and suggest the best way for me to translate it. As it is now it has both Norwegian and English text in all posts. All categories are “Norwegian/English”. Keywords are a little of both.

This is what I have done while trying out transposh:
Open a post. Click Edit. Cut out the English text. Paste the English text somewhere else for safe keeping. Update post so that it is in Norwegian only. Exit edit mode. Choose English as language. Then copy and paste the English text that I cut out back in. It is a very laborious process.

    Sincerely
    Geir Rosset

    Hello @geirrosset

Translating words does not create new categories, it will just know to replace that word when it appears inside an html by itself (anywhere)

I didn’t fully understand the reasoning behind the process you described, maybe this is solved with the use of shortcodes (See our trac site?)

    Good luck
