Just go to the posts screen and delete them. Use the checkboxes and the drop down menus to bulk remove those posts.

    Hi Otto,

Thanks for your reply. I deleted all of the unwanted posts, but the formatting on all my remaining posts remains affected.

When looking at the frontpage, the text of each of my posts appears below the image. It used to appear to the right of the image (so between the image and the name of the post which appears in large white text). This formatting changed when I installed the Tumblr Importer, but I would like to restore my original formatting. Any ideas how I could do this?

    The website is https://www.recessactivities.org

    Thanks!
    Maia

The importer can’t “change the formatting” of your blog. It’s just creating new posts. Nothing more.

If your formatting changed, then you did something else unrelated to importing posts. You have to figure out what that is, then undo it. And I can tell you in advance that it has nothing to do with the Tumblr Importer.

Thanks so much for your response, Otto. It is helpful to eliminate possible sources of this formatting issue.

I noticed the formatting changed immediately after I installed Tumblr Importer, so the change must have been a result of how I installed the plug in. I’ll keep working on restoring the formatting.

If you happen to have any hunches of places I might look to undo this change let me know (you look like a wordpress pro, which is why I mention it).

    Thanks again!

MaiaM It may be that the formatting has to do with the size of the photos you imported from Tumblr. They are likely to be larger than the size you use on your blog….just my 2 cents
