  • I noticed very similar issues and right now it stopped working all together. I believe Tumblr is starting to deprecate their v1 API in order to move over to v2. v2 requires OAuth and is a little more complex then v1. I am currently trying to patch tumblrize for v2 of the API if/when I do I will post it somewhere.

Please do, this is a little out of my scope.

Also, if you can be kind enough not to include the “Tumblrize” tag, that would be awesome ; )

(You just have to delete it from the tag list)

    Hi,

I’m sorry you’ve experienced problems using Tumblrize. Sadly, since the plugin was a labor of love, I haven’t had the wherewithal to maintain the now three-year old codebase.

Recently, Tumblr turned off version 1 of their API, and this means Tumblrize no longer works at all. The original developer has therefore officially announced end of life for the plugin. Neither of us have the time to continue maintaining the plugin and therefore have no plans to write an updated version or a replacement.

At this time, we know of no alternative for Tumblrize, and we apologize for the loss of this tool. However, if you or someone you know would be interested in maintaining a newer version of the plugin, you’re welcome to fork the codebase from GitHub and make whatever modifications you wish, provided you adhere to the software license.

Thank you for using Tumblrize and we hope you continue enjoying using WordPress and Tumblr. ??

    Cheers,
    -Meitar
