  • Hello beebo24,
If by “rotate” you mean that the tweets in the list continuously refresh then that feature is already supported by all Tweet Blender widgets.

All you need to do is set a refresh rate to the desired refresh cadence. The default value is “Manual” but you can set it to 10 seconds and you’ll see tweets updating just like in the standard Twitter widgets.

Here is the screenshot that shows that setting – https://s.www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/tweet-blender/screenshot-3.png?r=231701

The official Twitter widgets not only refresh but also show older tweets. It’s always continuously moving so that you can see all the tweets. Is there a way to do that with Tweet Blender?

I really like the way Tweet Blender looks and works, so I don’t want to replace it. But the problem is that I’m currently broadcasting tweets from a Twitter list. One of the people on the list tweets all. the. time. So whenever you go to the homepage, all you see are recent tweets from this person. If the widget could display messages continuously, even older messages, everyone would have a chance to see their tweets highlighted. Does that make sense? Is it possible?

Thanks for clarifying. In the next feature release I’m adding many options for controlling visual display and one of the options is to define a fixed width/height for the widget and not define max number of tweets to show so when there are more tweets than what fits into the space a scrollbar appears. This way you’ll see all the tweets including the older ones.

At the moment, the only place where all the tweets are shown is the archive page; the widget always displays X number of most recent.

There is also filtering capability under WP Admin > Settings > Tweet Blender > Filters so you can filter out the user that tweets all the time and saturates your tweet stream.

hmm, I’m also looking for this functionality. Does anyone know where I can find the ‘Official’ Twitter widget?
