[Plugin: Tweetable] Cant get past Setup step 4 – cannot return from Twitter!!

  • Twitters way of registering the app looks like it has changed. When I get to Step 4 in the setup process and click the “Sign in with Twitter” button, I am taken to the Twitter site where I click the “Authorise” button but then I am taken to a page which has a pin number that it tells me I have to copy and past into a place back on my website.

    I am not returned to the Tweetable setup page automatically and cant go any further than the setup page 4.

    What can I do to set this up properly? Thanks for your help…

  • I am having the same issue. It almost seems like the changes in twitter caused something to happen, but not sure. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    login in twitter.com and in https://dev.twitter.com/apps at the same browser. Now create your tweetable connection in the latter and set read write after creation. when you have set read write you can complete the process at your website.

    DO NOT CREATE ‘Access Token’ when creating application and twitter propose it at bottom.
