Hi ??

I’ve installed tweetfeed – love it by the way.

it works and looks gr8 on my website but doesn’t work in internet explorer. It works in firefox, chrome, iPhone but not IE

This error is coming up in ie if it helps

I just clicked on your twitter icon in both FF and IE8, no problem whatsoever!

Clicking on the link works fine but it’s supposed to display the last 3 tweets ??

I love the plugin! But I installed it on my client site https://www.kmscommunications.com and it doesn’t work in i.e. I’d appreciate any help on this.

It’s likely not compatible with WP 3.1 – only shows as being compatible up to 2.9.2: (This post is 4 months old.)

Actually I just took a look at your client’s site and the Twitter widget in the sidebar looks fine to me – Firefox 3.6.15/Mac.

Thanks, zoonini. It’s been working in Firefox, but she can’t see it in IE at all.

I would just try a different Twitter widget then – there are lots out there.

If it works in other version of IE (7, 9) you could try adding this meta tag to the <head> section of your site:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

…and see if that fixes it. IE8 apparently has some really strange display behaviour with some sites but I’m not sure this widget issue is related and don’t have time to test in IE for you at the moment. You can test this so-called “compatibility view” in IE8 by following these instructions.
