Hi. I’m using Twitter Widget Pro since a long time but, today, I noticed that the widget wasn’t appearing anymore on the website (don’t know since when). So, I went to wp-admin -> Appearance -> Widgets thinking that it disabled himself in somehow but… There is no trace of TWP! If I go in the plugins it result correctly installed and enabled. I tried een to uninstall and reinstall it but nothing, I don’t find the widget in the widgets page. Any idea where can be the problem? Thanks.

Often another widget plugin with an error (unclosed html or javascript errors usually) will cause problems like this. Try disabling other plugins to find which one is causing the issue.

Before doing that is possible reset all the plugin options/configurations?
If I delete the folder in /plugins and reinstall then TWP, the conf remains. Thanks, Mauro.

    Found the problem!
Is the wordpress JetPack! The problem is that I use it for the statistics but, I’ve to disable it if I want to use Twitter Widget Pro ??
Someone with both plugins together/any suggestion?

    WORKAROUND:
Delete the .php page related to the twitter plugin of the jetpack in wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules
Didn’t find a page to disable single plugin ??

It’s not the most intuitive, but you can disable a single plugin within Jetpack like this:
    * Go to the Jetpack setup page (Jetpack in admin menu)
    * Click “Learn More” on a plugin
    * You should notice that the button next to “Learn More” has changed from “Configure” to “Deactivate”. Click it.

Ahahha, funny… I found more intuitive delete the file ?? Now I restored it deactivated as suggested so, when will install an update, won’t reappear the problem ??

He excuses Aaron, can you help me? I am Spanish and scarcely I speak English. I have a web site with wordpress 3.3 and it was using twitter widget pro in localhost. All good. But when I it rose to my servant in network there is a mistake and the plugin says “No hay tweets “. I believe that it has to see with http or htpps. What can I do in order that it connects to my account of twitter? Thank you very much

@dgteruel, you got the plugin running on localhost by doing anything special? I’ve been using it for a while but cant get it working locally.

The new version (2.3.4) fixes the incompatibility with Jetpack
