• Hi!

I’ve created a “Product” post type, and a “Product Category” taxonomy. I’ve assigned the new taxonomy to the new post type.

When I’m adding a new Product, I see Product Category displayed on the side as a text entry box (like WP’s default tag entry box). How can I have it displayed as a list of checkboxes (like WP’s default category list)?

Thanks for a very cool plugin!

Go to the taxonomy definition (Types->Custom types->edit the taxonomy). Near the bottom of the form, mark it as hierarchical.

This makes it display like post categories (checkboxes) rather than post tags.

I think that we’ll have to add a note about that. It’s very confusing this way.

    Amir,

I just purchased Views from your site. Partially because I’m curious to check it out, and partially because I really appreciate the support with Types. Thanks again & Continued Success!
