  • I’m having the same problem… not sure which css file to play with either. But the editor is gigantic, can’t even see most of it. I wish I could turn it off without losing the media upload feature, to be honest. But if I can get it to fit inside the text box and look normal, I’ll be happy. I too am using Weaver. Thanks!

I tried, I think, the suggestions made here, but still no luck.

    Here’s a screenshot, in case it’s unclear.

Spoke too fast. I didn’t realize my Weaver CSS changes weren’t taking because of an fopen error that was being printed to the top of the pages after submitting changes… just wasn’t seeing it before.

To fix the error, I had to change the permissions of wp-content/uploads/weaver-subthemes/style-weaver.css from 644 to 666 so the webserver could write to it. Then I applied the suggestion from cartpauj in that other forum, which is:

In your… Dashboard >> Appearance >> Weaver Admin >> Main Options >> Content Areas >> Table Style >> No Borders

The editor now fits in the text area, which is good. But I have yet to see if this change affect anything else. So far so good.

My problem is the same – the icons on the editor are wider than the page.

I am not using Weaver (don’t know what this is) and not using Mingle either. So the solutions you have given I cannot apply. I’ve been trying to mess with the style sheets for hours now without success.

Without a working solution I won’t be able to use this tool which is a real shame as it has so much potential.

Is there any way we can add an additional style sheet with the correct settings so that I don’t have to mess with the main site style sheet?

    Thank you

I am not using Weaver (don’t know what this is)…

It’s a theme… that happens to come with the ability to modify the CSS and other template items through an admin interface in your dashboard.

i have the same problem i use it with twentyten

it’s been this way for a long time with no solution, It doesn’t work with 2010, but will in most other themes. I too really wish there was a fix.

Well I’ll be darned, This worked in 2010 for me..

    Finally!

Sorry about the link. That does not seem to work for me!

My problem is the same, I use it with Twentyten, NewOffer and other theme. Always broken.

I found a fix and attempted to post the link 2 weeks ago, but as you can see it didn’t work. I’ll try again if I can find it.Any clues as to how to get a link to show up here? This always happens. realy sucks.

Here it is, hope you can see it..
