    Hi,

Yes, I did remove the custom styles option (in version 1.7.7.1). I have created two plugins which give you many more options and possibilities.

One of the plugins has styles that are predefined, where you won’t have to code anything (but you are limited to the included styles).

The other plugin gives you advanced control to create your own custom styles to add to the editor.

You can find out more about each plugin by visiting this page:

No, I’m sorry, but Ultimate Tinymce is a free plugin. You didn’t pay any money for the Ultimate Tinymce Plugin.

The Custom Styles addon is indeed a paid plugin. It is a paid plugin because of the many hours which went into it’s development. I would love to be able to offer all my work for free, but that’s entirely unrealistic.

If you had asked me nicely, I would have been happy to write you a function you can use in your theme which would define some styles for you, exactly like the ones I had in the plugin… but you didn’t ask. Instead, you decided to throw your hands in the air and huff & puff.

So, if you’d like me to give you the function, let me know.

Lastly, you didn’t have to mark the plugin as broken just because I removed a feature you liked. That’s not really the intended purpose of the works versus broken rating system.

    Respectfully,

    – Josh

Josh, I don’t use or need the styles, but if I did it would be worth the very low price you charge for the add=on

Josh, I just loaded an update that I was automatically notified of. Most of my buttons disappeared. Before I go thru a reinstall, can you tell what you might know of this?

You will need to run the “Optimize Database” option at the very bottom of the Ultimate Tinymce settings page. This will restore all your previous settings into a single array.

I did this to reduce the number of calls to the database each time the content editor is loaded.
