[Plugin: underConstruction] the plugin doesn't seem to recognize any HTML special entity codes

Hi

I’m creating an under construction page for an Italian website.
the problem is that Italian language is full of accent.

I’m using entity codes such as:
®
è etc… but the browser shows a bunch of question marks instead.

I’ve noticed the plug in auto correct them in the editor once pressed save.
