Plugin update date?

    Hey, Greg,

    Thank’s again for such a great plugin and fast support.
    Just wondering if You are thinking about some updates? Maybe You have already decided update release date?

    Can’t wait for a few features like:
    1. Shortcode to display seperate dropdowns for category levels in search form.
    2. Feature to make first add’s image also as featured image.
    3. Feature to make image field required.
    4. Shortcode to exclude any field from search form.
    5. Shortcode to exclude any category from category dropdowns.

    I think these would be a great features for many plugin users. Thank’s again and keep going!

    Hi,
    thanks we actually release an update just few days ago, another one is planned in about a month. We have not yet decided what will be included in next release, most likely it will include just some small improvements as we are working on 2 new extensions and big update to WooCommerce integration.

    From your list:

    1. i am planning to create a snippet that will do this, but right now i am afraid i cannot tell when will it be available.
    2. this actually is available in WPAdverts since a couple of versions.
    3. you can make the Gallery field required using the Limit File Uploads snippet (or using the Custom Fields add-on) https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/blob/master/limit-file-uploads/limit-file-uploads.php
    4. this also is possible using the Custom Fields or using the Forms API
    5. with the Restricted Categories extension you can disable some categories in the categories dropdown https://wpadverts.com/extensions/restricted-categories/
