Plugin update failure

  • Hi guys I am posting this in here hoping beyond hoe that someone can point me in the right direction. Its already on Plugins section but that section is soooo busy.

    Hi guys,

    for some reason none of my plugins will update. They all fail. Is there a valid reason for this and can anyone help me out with a fix please?

  • What do you mean “they all fail”? Do you get a specific error?

    Its already on Plugins section but that section is soooo busy.

    Don’t multipost, as per the Forum Rules.

    No one can help unless you add details: what errors? What host?

    Thanx for the helpful reply sondogtech and also for stating the obvious. Craig has responded in the manner which I would have hoped for and so I shall reply to him. The which app question is almost irrelevant since it is all apps on my site and therefore likely to be a fundamental issue or setting.

    Here is a copy of the error and you can replace the title advanced lazy load with any other plugin title that ever existed and i suspect the error would be the same:

    Updating Plugin Advanced lazy load (1/8)
    Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/advanced-lazy-load.zip…

    An error occurred while updating Advanced lazy load: Could not remove the old plugin.
