I now receive a 500 error when connecting to my wordpress site since updating the ninja-tables plugin to the latest version, 2.0.9. In my apache logs, I see the following error:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ninja-tables/includes/ninja_tables-global-functions.php on line 149

    Hello @klucks83,
You are getting the error because your use using very old version of PHP ( Maybe php version 5.3 ). The current version of PHP is 7.2. We don’t support php 5.3 now and You should upgrade php version atleast 5.4 or higher ( 7.0 is recommended ).

    Thanks
