Hi — With version 2.7.1 update, I am seeing that for the user role of editor, the ability to update plugins is enabled by default. I cannot figure out how to disable this without disabling dashboard access for the editor role. It shows up under the Dashboard Admin menu, and allows editor to complete updates of plugins. Thanks for your help!

I resolved this by deleting the user and creating a new user for this person with the editor role. Not sure why that worked. Perhaps because the person had previously had an admin role?

    Hi siriusly,
It might be a case when you added capabilities that should not be assigned to that user.

I’m glad you found the solution.
    Appreciate your interest in AAM.
