Plugin upgraded to a beta release?

    Do you have either the Jetpack Beta Tester or the Plugin Beta Tester plugin installed?

    Automatic Updater simply installs whatever is presented as the current version of the plugin – if either of these plugins are installed, they override the stable version, and make the beta version ‘current’.

    No, I have either “Jetpack Beta Tester” (never heard of it) or “Plugin Beta Tester” installed. Just Jetpack and a few others I doubt would interfere with this.

    It happened on just one site, it seems. I have other sites with this plugin and Jetpack.

    Never mind. Explained. From IRC #wordpress-dev

    I haven’t been able to get a single commit in cleanly, Jetpack silently switched to releasing Trunk last night instead of the tag, and now I can’t get it to catch the new stable tag and switch to that.
