Ok, I installed your plugin and I’m testing the speed of the website we just finished but I do have a question.

Sometimes the speed test results vary and I wanted to make sure the plugin is propperly configured before I make up any conclusions.

In the plugin settings, I picked the options “Defer”. JQuery is set to “Exclude”. Now, in the boxes bellow, “Scripts to Async” and “Scripts to Defer”, do I need to add some scripts there or the plugin applies globally to every script even if I don’t add any? I added the current child theme to the theme exceptions but can try removing if it doesn’t hurt the site functionality.

With all this, I feel the tests are getting better results, but then again, I’ve seen worst and better results without changing anything, thats why I’m asking this.

the plugin should indeed apply to all scripts msdesignfoto

results can vary because e.g. ad/ affiliate networks or multi-variate testing services can push different JS every time, impacting overall performance. additionally the network path followed between the test-instance and the server can be different/ impacted by external factors.

    hope this clarifies,
    frank
