[Plugin: User Access Manager] UAM – can't save settings – page not found error

I’ve posted this on the bug report site and since that didn’t get a response, I’m posting it here.
Plugin seemed to install just fine but I can’t save setting changes. WHen the changes ae submitted WordPress says it can’t find the destination page: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=uam_settings
Permalinks are set to: /%category%/%postname%/
