[Plugin: user files] Several problems with the plugin

  • This is my report of what happened to me while trying to use the plugin.

    1. I was unable to create categories. No errors nor warnings. Simply entered the name and nothing seemed to happen after that
    2. I was able to upload files to the correct users but once those users tried to download them, a 404 not found error was shown although the files were indeed on the folders where they said they would be

    I will attempt to solve this issues myself since I really need something like this. If I do, I will post a new version and mention it here.

    I am using this plugin for last 5 months without any issue. Though i have modified the original a little bit. Few of my friends and other users also using this plugin without any issue.

    I will test the plugin with IE8 and IE9 again for the issue you have mentioned here.

    My fault dev123, I sent him the wrong file. I am working on integrating your code with the new updated version. I will have more time in a couple weeks and will hopefully be able to finish it then. Thanks again for all your help.

    @rmrmaste- I believe you are are in the wrong thread, try going over to getshopped.org and seek help there.

    Looks like Scriptonite beat me to it: I was using the wrong version. Yours works great on all the browsers I mentioned! Thanks.

    By the way, i am not finding the working version of this plugin into download section. Then where is the working version?

    The plugin is built on an older version of the plugin, the current version works for some users but not for others. I guess I should add your version for users having issues on our userfiles webpage. I’ll get that up tomorrow so if anyone is looking for it I will leave it up until the next version is released (and proven to work for all).
