Because the new International Design Default Storefront is so horrifically designed, I spent 2 months developing my site with the WordPress plugin.

Now, after 2 months, and hundreds of hours of work getting my storefront to layout just the way that I wanted it, the new V2.0.7 plugin destroys the Product Summary layout by putting the Pricing and Add To Cart Button above the Product Summary.

What the hell happened? Why are the ADD TO CART buttons and PRICING now added to the top of the product summary?

That is horrible, and we have NO option to change it!

I am using Elementor Pro and Elementor as the page builder, and my theme is Customify.

When I tested the new version of the plugin it ruined my product summary layout by putting the ADD TO CART Button and Pricing at the top of the Product Summary.

What do I have to do to get the new version of the plugin to layout like the previous version? Don’t just tell me all themes have different CSS. My site layout was just where I wanted it with the older plugin. Now it’s broken because some programmer decided to move the Add To Cart Button and Pricing above the Product Summary on all pages!

Programmers are NOT designers, and your programmers need to listen to the DESIGNERS.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response!

Hello, I am not on the Godaddy team AT ALL! However, I to am a user of Elementor and Elementor Pro.

I Do not update my Elementor plugins because they always mess up my site. I am using Pro version 2.1.13 and Builder Version 2.2.7.. I noticed that when I updated all my plugins (Godaddy and Elementor) My site broke.. So I simply Rolledback to my Elementor Version and my site was fixed.

I find it better when using a builder like elementor, to build a custom Product description and Hiding the Godaddy description Like you can see on my site.

    See my wordpress page

This will give you an idea on how to maintain the page layout you want. I believe your issue is with Elementor and not the Godaddy plugin (because I had the same issue) until I rolled back my version.

    Hope this helped..

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks so much for replying to my post.

I have rolled back Elementor and Elementor Pro using V1.0.7 of the Reseller Plugin.

My site works fine with that setup.

However, when I updated the reseller plugin to V2.0.7 it puts the Add To Cart and Pricing at the top of the product summary pages. So it’s definitely V2.0.7 of the reseller plugin that broke the design of my site.

Additionaly, I have so many pages on my site that are designed just the way that I want them that a simple CSS fix is not going to work. Many of my Product Widgets setup through Elementor and Elementor Pro are different sizes. Just creating a global .rstore-pricing and a .rstore-add-to-cart Custom CSS is not going to work.

Again, thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your time and consideration.

@manager007 and @cre8myhosting thanks for your feedback.

The change from 1.7 to 2.0.7 was pretty large both in the UX and in the module as we prepared for the 5.0 release of WordPress.

The information you posted is helpful. I will look at how we can give more layout options in the product widget so that you have more control over the placement of the buttons. I will setup a development environment with those plugins and themes and do some testing as I am not familiar with it right now.

In the page builder, do you use shortcodes or widgets?

Also I can create a filter you can add to your functions.php that can set the layout option (new feature?) globally so you don’t have to go into every post and make the change.

    Hello Bryan,

First, thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate your time and consideration.

For my product pages I am using Widgets that I insert through the Elementor and Elementor Pro page builder environment.

That filter would be a great help at this time because a global CSS change to .rstore-pricing and a .rstore-add-to-cart Custom CSS is not going to work. I have pages with widgets that are different sizes so global CSS is not an option.

You can go through my site here.

I have not updated the plugin on the live site, but you will see exactly what I am talking about regarding the design, layout, and widgets. The site is still at V1.0.7 of the reseller plugin.

I look forward to getting the Filter. Will that provide functionality in the Widget area or a global filter for all pages, and how will I be able to control that global filter? Also, can you add “Hide Title” in the filter?” Right now, when I test the V2.0.7 of the plugin the titles continues to display at the top of the Product Summary even though I uncheck the box to Show Title. Also, the Add To Cart buttons in V2.0.7 go directly to the cart instead of staying on the page. I want my customers to stay on the page and not directed to the cart.

Further, a domain search and selection requires that the user Continue To Cart. Otherwise, if they make a selection to go to another page, the Pop Up Box comes up, and that is very confusing for UX design. Can you just set it to put the domain in the cart like it does with products without having to “Continue to Cart?”

I am trying to keep users on the site for a better UX, without going to the cart, and then having to come back to the site to make additional product selections. That is not good, and very confusing. Too many clicks, and too many different pages.

Thanks again. I greatly appreciate your help!

    Hi Again Bryan,

I would need the same for the Super Reseller part of the plugin. I have been part of the program since 2004, and I am both a Super Reseller and a Pro Reseller.

Thanks again. I look forward to your response.

    Hello Brian,

Does the reseller plugin V2.0.8 correct the issues that I brought up in this thread? If not, how is the progress coming along with the Price and Add To Cart button options to move to the bottom of the Product Summary instead of the Top of the Product Summary?

    Thanks…

Hi @manager007 Thanks for the feedback. These are all fantastic requests and we will prioritize and work on them.

We are currently working on the product widget change and will take all of your feedback into consideration on it.

For the domain search, we will revisit that on a future release too. There will need to be some changes made to our APIs and then updates to the domain search so that a shopper can add/remove domains to their cart from without leaving the WordPress site directly. The biggest issue we need to account for is that some domains require a validation of the shopper’s country of residence or other information before a domain can be added to their cart.

For the Super reseller you will need to setup a separate WordPress site. However we are revisiting this architecture in 2019. This is a pretty big change under the covers because we would like to combine the two reseller plans to a single plan. No promises there but that is something that we are researching.

    Hello Brian,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I do have a separate Super Reseller site setup, and it has the same issues of the Pricing and Add To Cart button appearing above the Product Summary…

I appreciate that you are working on this, including the user not be redirected to add the domain name to the cart. I understand the country issue, but that can be handled when the customer eventually chooses to go the cart. Just like it takes them to the domain options page providing the user with the option to make their domain Private.

Instead, a user who has selected an extension that requires Country validation, they could be taken to a page to validate Country requirements before they get to the eventual cart page.

    Thanks…

@manager007 We have released a beta version of the plugin that adds a “Classic” layout option to the plugin. Will you test the beta version and confirm that the classic layout will work with your site?

Here is a video overview and direct link to download the beta.

    https://go.me/beta

We are continuing two prioritize and work on your additional feedback. Thanks!

    Hi,

What theme are you using in the video?

    Hello Bryan,

Thanks for letting me know about the Beta.

    I am having an issue:

    1. I watched the video
    2. I deleted the previous version of the plugin before I installed the Beta
    3. I downloaded, installed, and activated the Beta plugins
    4. I used the settings plugin to globally control the Classic layout
    5. I am getting “! Internal Server Error” when I click on “Add to Cart”
    6. I deactivated the Settings Plugin and set to Classic on the page itself
    7. I am still getting “! Internal Server Error” when I click on “Add to Cart”

Whether the plugin is set to default or classic I am still getting “! Internal Server Error”

This is on a site with my Super Reseller account not my Pro Reseller site. So there are only 2 product links on the home page. I wanted to test on this site before I moved the Beta to my Pro Reseller account.

    Hi @manager007

I tested the buttons on your homepage and it is working for me. There are two scenarios that i think could be causing this issue.

#1. A cached javascript was loading and refreshing your cache would fix that
#2. You were logged into a different reseller account and maybe there was a cart conflict. We do have code in place that attempts to handle this use case however if there a large number of cookies, the browser isn’t sending the server all of the cookie data.

    Hello Bryan,

    Thanks for letting me know.

Here are 2 other issues that have been going on for sometime, and I am concerned about my client user experience.

    1. Client logs into the back end of their account
    2. Client comes back to the WordPress site
    3. Client adds a product or just wants to go back into the back end for whatever reason they have to login again. This happens every single time.

    Another issue is:

    1. If a client logs out of the site then goes back to the WordPress homepage of the site, it still shows that they are logged in even though they are not?

    The site is:
