  • Actually, it’s free.

    If you want it free, you just have to host it yourself.

    You only pay if you want them to save you trouble and provide; hosting, backups, plugins etc…

    Pretty awesome offer, and more than fair and reasonable.

    The Vanilla forum software is open source. The company offers hosted plans for Vanilla, in exactly the same way WordPress do.

    Like WordPress’ upgrade, you pay for more if you need it.

    Or, download Vanilla from their .org site, install, host and maintain yourself.

    Two options – Vanilla hosting, and Vanilla Open Source.
