  • Since the sitemaps are created on the fly, no files are overwritten. If there was a real sitemap.xml file, it was renamed to sitemap_old.xml during the upgrade.

    Hi Arnee,
the other Plugin also works on the fly. So this Answer does not resolve the Problem. Possible, that your Plugin overwrites everything called something with “sitemap” and is written on the fly? Or any other idea?
    Regards,
    Jo

    Dear Jo,

you are right, the plugin catches everything starting with sitemap and ending with .xml(.gz). Unfortunately it is not possible to change the name at the moment. Can you change it in the other plugin?

    Regards,

    Arne

If not, since the image-sitemap has not been updated for two years, you could also hardcode it in the plugin file.

I will try to add this functionality in the future.
