  • Hi @francescapenso,

Thanks for posting on the forum.

I have tested on chrome & firefox browsers several time by accessing your site https://www.marialuisabenetti.com/ and it worked fine without any issue.

    Try clearing your browser cache.

Is it happening on any specific firefox browser version?

Could you please test it on another sysyem using the firefox browser?

When testing don’t just refresh the page instead enter the URL in the browser URL field and press the Enter key that will work as visiting the URL directly and will display the pop up.

Does it work for you if you use any other pop loading method from pop up settings?

I have also tested it on my test site using latest version of WordPress pop up plugin and using only condition “not via internal link” with WordPress Ajax loading method, it worked fine on all browsers without any issue. You can test it here https://goo.gl/1FKUEG

    Hi,
i’ve just tested on chrome & firefox with two different computers.
    with Chrome it always work.
with Firefox your site works https://goo.gl/1FKUEG, my site the first time the pop up doesnt’ appear, if i press Enter (not refresh) it works.

I’ve cleared my broswer chat and i use firefox 35.0
I tried to use all three methods but the result is the same….

I think it is a problem with loading the page, but I do not understand why this is happening only on Firefox and how to fix

    Hi @francescapenso,

Thanks for your reply. It’s tough to see what’s getting loaded in your page since you’ve disabled right-clicks but I do see you’re using a multi-language solution so I suspect the redirect from that may cause a different experience when using the “not via internal link” condition in the popup.

By any chance, have you tried not using that to see how the popups work then?

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi David,
    thanks for you reply.
    Now you can use right-clicks.
Yes there’s a multilanguage solution but the pop-up should appear only in italian version…redirect should be only in english pages.
Anywhere i tried to disabile “not via internal link” so the pop-up was in “always shows”. Making some test it seems to work…but it’s not the desidered behavior.

Now the conditions are: “not via internal link” and it should work only for pages in italian (language browser ITA)

    Right-clicks works.

    Can you help me?

    Hi @francescapenso,

I have tested it again by accessing your site https://www.marialuisabenetti.com/ and the pop up worked fine for me on both the firefox and chrome browsers as displayed in the following screenshots.

I am using linux operating system.

Could you please tell us which operating system you are using so that we can test it on that operating system with the same firefox and chrome browsers?

    Hey there francescapenso,

Working with Vinod & David here.

I noticed that your site is auto redirecting to english but you said that popup only work for italian version.

I am using OSX Yosetmite as well and these are some screenshots that it works:
    Chrome: https://prntscr.com/62uxj3
    Firefox: https://prntscr.com/62uxzd

It doesn’t work when I click the italian flag when I am currently english mode.

Let me know if it helps! ??

    Take care,
    Calvin

    Hi Calvin
i use browser in italian language and if i arrive in the web site from a google search the pop up doesn’t appear.
I’ve to try it with the browser in italian. It doest’n work only with firefox…with chrome everything is ok

    Hi @francescapenso,

Thanks for your clarification and for your patience with this! Strangely, I am seeing an issue with the page loading in general with Firefox, but it’s not related to the plugin. Instead, the page just keeps refreshing.

Could I ask if you’ve tried deactivating other plugins and switching to Twenty Fifteen to see how it works with that?

If that works fine, you can then reactivate plugins and the theme one-by-one and that should help to find what’s causing the refresh issue.

Could you have a look into that and let us know how that goes?

Thanks again for your patience, looking forward to seeing that sorted for you asap!

    -David
