Basically, all of the “view details” links on any of my plug-ins on my plug-in page generate a “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums” message.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

I’m encountering 3 critical issues. I am using the 2024 theme.

When testing the REST API, an error was encountered:REST API Endpoint: https://agmc.dreamhosters.com/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
REST API Response: (http_request_failed) cURL error 6: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start

Your site is unable to reach www.ads-software.com at 198.143.164.251, and returned the error: cURL error 6: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.

As a followup, the site is not yet live to the world, so I’ve deactivated all plug-ins except the site health and WP Super Cache. Is there a way to clear the errors to see if they return?

As a followup to the followup, I went through and deleted most of the plug-ins that were installed but not being used and that seems to have corrected the problem. Now I just have to reactivate the ones I want to use.

And they have returned. I reactivated a couple of plug-ins (Simple File List Pro and Pretty Google Calendar) and they returned. They been deactivated for 20 minutes, but the errors remain.

The culprit, according to Dreamhost, is Simple File List Pro. I use it for a good number of PDFs and one of the features is generation of thumbnails. Apparently attempting to do that is too much for the shared non-profit hosting I have.
