[Plugin: Viper’s Video Quicktags] Video not showing up in post

  • I apologize if this is a silly question, but I can’t seem to get my video to embed in my post.

    I know it’s uploaded correctly to my files b/c when I click on the ‘add video’ icon and enter the url of the link (in the flv version), it adds a text link to the site and when clicked it gives me the option to run or download the video.

    However, I would like the video with the video play to display in the post and not a link to the video. Hope this makes sense.

    I’ve tried also directly add the html:
    [videofile]https://www.newbizblogger.com/videos/myvideo.avi[/videofile]
    and
    [flash][videofile]https://www.newbizblogger.com/videos/myvideo.avi[/videofile][/flash]
    In avi. and flv. versions, but nothing shows up.

    Anyway, can someone direct me in what I’m doing wrong?

    FYI: i have no problem embedding youtube video just embedding video directly.
