• Hi,

After researching W3 total cache – i went ahead with the install on a multisite installation (but only one site on there at the moment). As soon as I network activated it, my site went to 500 error. I am not advanced enough to deal with this, so followed googled instructions on how to remove the plugin. I still couldnt get it back up. A friend helped me out, but didn’t tell me what the error was, so this isn’t going to help Frederick out.

    Why I am writing this:
    1) I read conflicting posts re the installation – I missed off changing 777 (mostly cause i didnt understand this)
    2) I have read that W3 is not mu-friendly and domain mapping unsupported.

I would still like to use this, but am unsure if i can?

If you have successfully installed the W3 (latest version) on a mu site, please can you let me know what you did exactly? Please put it in WP for dummies speak!

    Thanks in Advance!
