[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] 404 error on logs

Today I noticed some errors on my error_log:
[Mon Dec 14 10:37:42 2009] [error] [client 87.126.47.93] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_404() in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/PgCache.php on line 439, referer: https://www.domain.com/42216/article/
The referer link does actually exist.
The error appears 1,366 times on today’s error_log….
