[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Can not log out of WP when using CDN (Cloudfront)

Hi,

I just setup my WP site to use Cloudfront as a CDN. It was very easy to setup and W3TC was pretty much a breeze.

I have one issue though. I have checked the option:

Set cookie domain to "www.xxxx.com"

I have found that I can not log out of WP when this is selected. I will log out and get the log in screen. Then go to the site homepage, and the admin bar will be present. I can then go into the dashboard etc.

I had a hunch it was a problem with the cookies, so I decided to uncheck this option and try again. My suspicions were correct, and I was now able to login.

Is this the expected behavior for the plugin? I would assume not. I’m guessing the CDN is sending back my original cookie, so, I stay logged in forever. If I clear the browser’s cookie, then my issue goes away, until I log in again.

As far as issue goes, this is minor, but I wanted to make sure this is not an indicator of some larger issue with using W3TC and CDN.

For now, I’ll uncheck this option, just to be safe…

I’m using W3TC 0.9.2.4.
