[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Enhanced Disk Caching makes characters into alt codes

  • When I turn on enhanced disk caching some of the characters in my posts come up as alt codes (i.e. changing ‘ to a€? )

    It seems to happen with curly quotes and international characters.

    Has anyone ever run into this problem and found a fix for it?

    EDIT: It seems to be related to gzip http compression, only with enhanced disk caching
