    Hi Frederick,

Thank you so much for creating this amazing plugin. It’s a perfect solution for my non-profit community, so improve performance and serve my (international) users a good experience.

I’ve set up a CDN in the plugin settings and all my media uploads or automatically served to my users through the CDN (VPS.net in my case). But now I want to start serving other images through it as well. Since my site is using BuddyPress and WPMU I want to serve the wp-content/blogs.dir/* folders and files to my CDN.. So I add that folder to my custom files list, and upload the content to the CDN. This all works fine, but what does’nt happen is that new uploads from my users in these folders, get served to the cdn. In my case these are Member Avatars, Group Avatars etc.

Do I have to setup my CDN different, or am I doing something wrong? The ideal situation would be that if a user uploads his/her avatar (frontend) to the blogs.dir, it gets sent to the CDN and served to the users through the CDN (like Media Uploads do).

Maybe this is not possible, but I was under the impression that it was ?? Any help would be great ??

    Thanks in advance,
    Bowe Frankema

  • Unfortunately this functionality is not supported yet. It will be so in the next release.

Ah ok.. Well there is no real hurry.. I’m planning to launch my community somewhere in May.. Do you think the new version is out around then?

I’ll send you a donation for all your hard work right now btw

edit: you don’t take donations? You must have an amazing karma dude?!

I doubt my karma is any better than anyone else’s. I’m not sure when the next release will be out, it depends how things take shape, lots of ambitious pieces in the next release.

    Looking forward to it ??
