[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] install php-devel package not available

  • Making another W3 Total Cache post/’cry for help’, hope someone replies this time….

    I’m going through the installation instructions with my host to see if I can get enhanced disk option working. We can’t do:

    3. Install the PHP Development package:
    # yum install php-devel

    Because my host says it’s not in the repository under the name provided.
    Is there another name? Do I need this? Will it solve my lack of enhanced disk option?
