    Hi,

I searched and didn’t find a post that helped. I think it hasn’t been asked before, I couldn’t find it at least.

I installed WordPress, and W3 Total Cache. I set W3TC up according to these instructions on WP Tuts+

It seems to work just fine, but when I went to look at my page on the iPad. I got a completely blank page. White, nothing there at all.
I haven’t got a “mobile theme plugin” installed, just a basic custom made theme, which hasn’t got any real mobile setup yet.

I did find that you should disable W3TC for mobile agents (Disable W3 Total Cache for Mobile User Agents, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a fix for this? Please, help me. Thanks.

  • Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I’m experiencing the same problem. I’ve switched to the Quick Cache plugin for now, and it works fine.. but I’d really like to use W3TC for my caching… it has a lot more features.

I am getting a similar problem: using a theme with full responsiveness built-in, the site displays in responsive mode on a mobile or tablet – until a random point in time (hours, days) then responsiveness is “switched off” i.e. viewing the site on a mobile shows the normal site.

As soon as I deactivate W3 the site displays properly in responsive mode on a mobile. I can activate W3 again and responsiveness still works until there is another “switch off” some time later.

I note the OP says the Reject User Agent setting doesn’t work (haven’t tried it) but the problem I see with that anyway is keeping up to date with all the various ‘user agents’ / phone types… I’d rather have a plugin that works properly.

Looks like I’m going to have to use another caching plugin.

Hi have a look at this link.

I did try this in my development site and it did work. I will try it on a live site and see what happens.

    Kind regards
