On page cache there are options on what to purge when making a new or editing post. (under Purge Policy setting)

Unfortunately purging Pages is not one of the options. Any way for this to be implemented now ? or in the next release ?

I ask because I have a Page that shows “Latest Posts” (this page is not the homepage). It does not get purged when a new post is created.

Pages are automatically purged once edited. Do you have a link to the page that you mean? I would imagine having i field for pages to purge, but I can see how it would be misused by some users.

The page itself is not being edited.

The page itself has a dynamic php code that lists the latest posts.

So when I make a new post, this page needs to be purged as well, but it is not, since it is not directly being edited.

This is quite tricky, the easiest thing to do is have a low expires value for all pages or to use fragment caching in order to realize the desired result.
