[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Redirection of original media links for the CDN
-
First off, W3TC rocks, thanks for the wonderful plugin.
I’m having some problems with the CDN portion of the plugin. When I upload media attachments, they seem to be making their way to the CDN just fine and are showing up correctly on pages and posts, but for some reason the rewrite rules don’t seem to be working quite right. The media library can’t display any thumbnails and when visiting a url directly, ie /wp-content/uploads/2010/01/filename.jpg I’m confronted with a 404. Same reason the thumbnail isn’t working in the Media Library I’d presume.

I’m assuming this isn’t suppose to work like this and kill all of the thumbnails in the library. In my head, visiting a direct link should just redirect to the CDN location and not 404. Also, if we have to hard code a link, we don’t want to hardcode the CDN link if we ever change CDN’s, cnames, or end up ditching the CDN all together.
Any insight would be great.
