  • Once in the https://aws.amazon.com control panel cheate a new key and secret key for the new domain name.

In W3 Total Cache on your website go to CDN
and Enter your Access key ID: and Secret key:
    then
Name the bucket, usually your domain name.
    then
test s3 upload. if successful save the settings and then you can export to S3.

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the problem remains even with the new Access key ID and Secret Key.

The problem was solved when I created a bucket from the site rather then using one already named. My already created bucket started with a capital letter am unsure this caused a problem.

What is the result of the self test tool (button) on the general settings tab?

I just encountered the same problem and used the same solution.
Comparing the two buckets it’s clear that one missing thing is to add a permission for “Everyone” to “list”.
The only other difference is that I created the original one in the Ireland region and the one created by the plugin uses the default US.
You might want to add the permission issue to the FAQ and consider adding the Region option for the creation. It might be critical for European users…
