• Hi,

I’ve purchased WPML and they seem to recommend W3TC for caching.

I have found that Page Caching, Disk Enhanced, does not work when I have multiple domains accessing my site, which WPML will correctly switch between different translated versions of the site.

I have wwww.basgnob.com for English, https://www.bagsnob.cn for Simplified Chinese and https://www.bagsnob.tw for Traditional Chinese.

If I turn on Disk Basic page caching, everything works fine. If I turn on Disk Enhanced, everyhing goes to hell, and I get served different pages for the wrong translated sites.

If I look at the pgcache folder at this time, I can see there is only 1 index.html page being cached. I would assume there should be 3 different index.html files being cached, but I do not see any indicatoin that there are different index.html files being cached for the different domains.

I’m pretty sure WPML domains per language does not work for W3TC in Disk enhanced mode.

Is there any hope that W3TC will make any changes to fix this, with WPML? As it is, I’m stuck using Disk basic mode, which from what I can tell is the worst perorming caching mechanism.

    Thanks for your help,
    Rich

  • I can confirm the same behavior. W3TC with Disk Enhanced doesn’t work with WPML language per domain.

Unfortunately Disc Enhanced in 0.9.2.4 nor current dev version support multiple domains in that way. The next release already supports this use case.
