• I sometimes link internally using RB Internal Links, which allows me to link to other posts/pages on my site using just [intlink type="post/page" id="post-or-page-slug"]link text[/intlink]. I’ve been using WP-Footnotes for a long time, but I’ve tired of its ((footnote text)) syntax and lack of updates.

This endnote plugin offers much better syntax for inserting notes (what could be better than [note]Footnote text[/note]?), but shortcodes in the footnotes are not parsed recursively. I could hack that support in myself, as I did for WP-Footnotes, but I feel that there is a much higher chance of my edits being overwritten by an update with this plugin.

The changes are simple, really. In wsa_the_content_filter(), just add do_shortcode() like this (edited to link instead of including code, because these forums apparently decode multiple levels of HTML entities and break everything)
