• Hi Webtoffee

I recently set up a staging server for my client so that we could test payments and add functionality without affecting the live site.

During this staging server development period several new woocommerce orders were processed and completed on the live site.

Before deploying the staging server to the live domain, I installed the Webtoffee import export basic plugin then I made a backup of each site

I then exported the customer/users from the live site and imported them into the staging server. This worked perfectly.

Next, I tried exporting the orders and then importing the orders onto the staging server so that woocommerce mirrored the live site.

Unfortunately, I generated an error as per the screenshot link attached.

The error mentions that the order ID conflicts with an existing post. Now, I know that the staging server doesn’t contain those Order IDs so it must relate to a general Woocommerce database that records all Order IDs. i.e. the order existed at a point in time despite not being reflected on the staging server.

I didn’t expect to see this message, as I thought that the whole reason for the plugin was to import orders and that the plugin would resolve conflicts. I tried both the skip and update option on step 4 of the import process but got the same results.

Both the client and I have the Woocommerce App installed on our iPhones. Not sure if this is part of the issue, as it lists all of the orders that I am trying to import (there are only four orders).

Are you able to assist me with this?

    best regards
    Bren
