• If one has a a very busy site (100K page views/day for example), with many posts published every day (10-15) what do you think of the idea of going in every few days and resetting the plugin to keep the “Also viewed” data fresh?

I’m thinking otherwise that posts published a couple of weeks back that had many visits would accumulate such a high threshold of “viewed next” links at that time that as new visitors hit that page they’ll be seeing a snapshot of what people viewed next that’s out of date.

    Does that make sense?

Awesome plugin, really love it and the concept!

    Vich,

There is a way of resetting all the data manually.

The also read data is not ranked by number of hits. It is ranked by last visited, no matter when they visited

i.e. if someone went on a 3 week old post and browsed from there to another post, that becomes the first also visited post.

How can you reset all the data manually? I’d really like to do this ??
