To detail more, my custom logo is about 270×50, however the logo is being stretched to what appears to be about 300×80. Again, this is only occurring in Safari.

    Sounds like a css issue.

We are about to release a new version, so will take a look at this before doing so.

    Thanks

Indeed – it’s CSS. I tried a few custom CSS options through the White Label UI, but was unable to quickly resolve it. There is a workaround: if one’s logo cannot easily be edited to 300x80px, with Photoshop or the like, place your logo on a transparent background (canvas) sized 300x80px EXACTLY. This resolves the image distortion and enlargement. Best regards.

I have had a similar issue where the Logo image is squashed. I’ve worked around it with some Custom Login CSS to force the image size, but it’s not desirable. I do remember that this issue didn’t happen with WordPress 3.3 though.

Revert the CSS back to the original settings, and edit the image to 300x80px in either of the ways I’ve detailed above. That will fix your issue.
