[Plugin: Wibstats] Followed install instructions but still not working

trying to set this up on my personal blog https://antsomerset.co.uk

followed the instructions to the letter

i am using Thesis 1.7 with Thesis Bold Skin and i have checked and it does have wp_footer in the footer

however it is not seeming to put any of the tracking JS in the footer (i disabled all other plugins to check) as well

the database tables are created but nothing goies in

yet i still get no stats tracking at all

i made use of the test wp_footer custom plugin someone wrote and modd’ed it to work with 2.9.2 instead of 3 and i get the following result:

is there something i am missing?
