[Plugin: Widget Builder] Widget builder does not work with social icons or guestbook plugins

    Hi everybody,

    I am working with widget builder since a few weeks and I really love it. Everything works fine, if you don’t install a guestbook plugin or social share buttons.

    look at this screenshot and you will see what I meen. Same did it, when I installed a guestbook.

    What can I do now? I have 20 Widgets on a clients site build with widget builder. If the client wants social share buttons, I have to build all widgets again as textwidgets to fix this. I would be glad if there was a better solution.

    it looks like the social share plugin might be calling the_content() which could conflict with this plugin – any chance you can link to which social share plugin you are using so I can take a look at their code?

    Hi Timothy,

    it happend, when I used these two plugins – I don’t know if it happens with other plugins too…

    DMS Guestbook

    and

    2 click Social Media buttons

    Perhaps you can find it out. Would be very happy if you could fix that ??

    Thank you for sending along those plugin links – I have installed them on my dev environment and am testing compatibility. I will update here once I find a fix or bug.
