    Hi there

I can get my widgets appearing on pages and posts as required, but need them to appear on the ‘blog’ style posts page which shows summaries of all posts.

My WP widgets appear on this page, just not the specific Widget Wrangler ones … so i spose the custom sidebar isn’t being created for this page. I wondered if i need to add another tag in the Post Types in Settings along side page, post … but not sure what it should be.

    Thanks for reading

    Hi Wil,

If you have your homepage set to ‘Posts’ in settings, then in the widget wrangler menu there should be a menu item called ‘Posts Page Widgets’.

If you have a custom setup for displaying blog-style pages, please describe that and I may be able to help you further.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan

thanks very much for your reply. I’ve flipped my problem, making my desired widgets ‘defaults’ then deselecting them on the pages i don’t want them to appear which solved my problem.

FYI my homepage is set to a custom page, the ‘Posts’ blog-style page is a secondary page … by the sound of it the Widget Wrangler Menu item ‘Posts Page Widgets’ wouldn’t have worked.

    All the best
    Wil
