Plugin Widgets won’t Install in Sidebar

  • Blue Host updated the version of word press and today I discovered I can’t add widgets to the sidebar. I called support and they reverted back to an earlier version of word press. I’m not sure the Cottage theme is compatible with version 5.6 of WP.

    I’m not sure 5.6.1 upgrade was the problem it still existed after reverting to the earlier level of word press. I upgrade back up to 5.6.1 because the lower version was not the fix.
