  • I installed the Plugin just now from the WordPress Dashboard and it works fine. Please try again today. Maybe a problem with the download. Apparently there have been some troubles with www.ads-software.com yesterday caused by the massive load due to automatic update to WP 4.1.2.

If it still does not work please try deactivating all other plugins. Maybe there’s a conflict. If you can figure it out I’ll try to fix.

I tried installing before the WP 4.1.2 update, and just tried again with a fresh download and the problem persists.

I have about 20 plugins installed with this WP site, and this javascript capability is not at the top of my “to do” list, so I may not get to it for a while, but when I do I will let you know the results.

In the meantime I am wondering if it is a difference in the version of PHP being used on my server vs yours that is causing the issue. My hosting company tends to lag behind in these updates. My PHP skills are rudimentary at best, but when I see an ‘unexpected end of file” error like this at install time, vs when the plugin is in use, I have to wonder if it is just an issue with how the code is being processed vs a conflict with another plugin. Thanks for your help

    Any progress in that?

The plugin uses only basic PHP functions. It should work with at least PHP 5.0 – released in 2005. If your WordPress version is at least 3.2 the minimum required PHP version is 5.2.4. So this should not be a problem…

You are right that an end of file error indicates a code issue. But as said the plugin works fine for me.

    Regards
