Plugin wont activate due to fatal error

    Unfortunately like some of the other recent reviews & support posts, we too are now getting ‘plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error‘ message. Its a shame as it worked well when it was working on previous version of WordPress.

    Hoping there will be a new release with a fix soon. Otherwise we’ll have to investigate alternative plugin options and abandon this one altogether.

    Hi @wiseupmarketing,

    We have tested the activation/deactivation on the latest version of the WP and it’s working. It seems has some conflicts with other plugins. I recommend trying to disable/enable other plugins and try activate EBD in order to find out the conflict.

    Unfortunately not and we ended up installing an alternative plugin to handle this a slightly different way instead.

    We installed CF7 Redirect Plugin which redirects to a thank you page that includes a download button on it to download the PDF file.

    Its a good approach too. following it. Also can you share your plugin names and i can compare them with mine to see if there is any common plugin.

    Hello,

    Were you able to find which plugin was the one responsible for it not working? If so please let us know and we can add it to the knowledge base. You can do this by enabling disabling one at a time. We recommend disabling all at first and make sure it works, then go one by one.
