Hey, I am using latest version of both WordPress and this plugin with latest version of plugin Postie, where people can add posts using email. However, if the email has any attachment for the post in an email, cron job will never be created for auto deletion for some reason with this plugin. It works fine if it’s only text, but once I add PDF attachment, there is no cron job error for the post. I need to go into administration and republish that post for it to create cron job correctly. Do you know any reason why?

This is what’s in my debug right after publishing it with Postie and with attachment PDF. If I am reading this right, it for some reason removes and then adds the cron event, but when I go to Diagnostics tab, the cron job is not there. Auto scheduling is enabled of course. The only thing that helps is to go to the post and just hit “update” without really changing anything to recreate cron job correctly. Not sure why would adding attachment matter though, but I know for sure now it’s somehow related.

    Hi @smexhy

We dont have fully compatible with Postie yet. We are planning to do it in the future of our Pro version: https://github.com/publishpress/PublishPress-Future/issues/69
