I’ve purchased a plugin called Visual Composer. When I try to install it I get the following message:
    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
    Plugin install failed.
Is this a problem with what I have bought?
I’m having problems using my NextGEN gallery plugin…could there be a similar issue affecting both?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

Generally speaking you can install a plugin either by using the WordPress dashboard and uploading the zip file or just extract the contents of that zip file into your wp-content/plugins directory.

Or there could be a conflict with your other plugin and/or theme. Try deactivating all of your other plugins and then attempt to install the problem plugins.

Maybe. Contact the vendor for specific instructions on how to install their plugin.

You need to unzip the file and then zip the file named js composer. This file js composer is your plugin other all are documentation files.
