I created a downloadable product in WoCommerce. There is no shipping. Hence, shipping has been disabled. I have PayPal Pro enabled as the payment gateway.

On the checkout page I get the following error:

“Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements”

I tried the default payment methods, but the same thing happens.

Again, there is no shipping, so why isn’t the payment method details showing up? How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

    Update:

I discovered that when I disable “WooCommerce Subscriptions” or don’t use a product subscription it shows the credit card detail. If the same item is a simple product, the credit card info shows. If I switch it back to a subscription, it shows “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”

That means there is some issue between “WooCommerce Subscriptions” and “WooCommerce”

What needs to done to fix this issue?

    Update:

I found the Easter Egg. I’m using PayPal Pro along with WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscription extension.

Because of this I needed to go to Settings and enable “Accept Manual Renewals” which will provide another option called “Turn off Automatic Payments which also needs to be enabled.

    Doing that worked.

WoCommerce needs to update their documentation and description in the settings to be more clear on what it provides.
